Hi there, my name is Adrian and I have a passion for keeping fit and sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm to help and encourage anyone to reach their fitness goals. Let’s know about me, I am a down to earth guy and believe by sharing knowledge and helping each other, we can achieve so much more. My website is a space to share our fitness journeys and encourage one another to push through self doubt and barriers, which maybe holding us back from achieving our potential.

My personal journey obviously began when I was born, but when I was 2 years old, I was run over by a lorry and this caused a lot of injury to my left leg and foot which put me in hospital for 4 months, where I had to under go many operations to rebuild my left foot using bone and skin graft from my right leg. The whole recovery process involved many return visits to hospital throughout my childhood for more operations, where one was to slow down my right leg from growing quicker than my left leg. This all went on right up until I was 17 years old. So its official, I around 2 inches shorter than I would have been if I didn’t have the accident. 🙂

Although I sustained severe trauma to my foot, I never allowed the injury to hold me back. If anything, it probably strove me on to try even harder. When I reached senior school, I was selected to play for the school rugby team. That was my first great achievement.

My 20’s and 30’s involved a lot of drinking alcohol, smoking and eating all the wrong foods. The last 10 years, I have been trying to put all that right. I can honestly say hand on heart that I am now much healthier than I have been for many years. This is down to my commitment to exercise regularly at home and at the gym eat less carbs and drink very little alcohol. However I do like a glass of beer.
